B.R.A.T.S., in our name Awesome B.R.A.T.S., mean: BRAVE RESILIENT ADOLESCENTS & TEENAGERS of SERVICE-MEMBERS!

 

The word "brats" doesn't always have a positive connotation attached to it; however, it's 100% positive when we refer to our military kids on this site! Military children, through both service and sacrifice, continue to accomplish their goals all over the world. When it comes to these particular children, their service may not always be done in the same location or with the same organization, but the impact they leave can be everlasting. Through the challenges of leaving their beloved friends, entering new schools, and experiencing different cultures, countless military kids still find ways to help others through tough times.

Children don't get to choose the families to which they are born, nor do they have a say in their parents' careers. Despite so many unforeseen changes that come with being born into military families, the resiliency that military children have while still wanting to help others is absolutely amazing...it's AWESOME!

 

Even though acts of kindness are not meant to be done for an applause, here at Awesome B.R.A.T.S. we want to recognize the resiliency, talents, and loving hearts of our military children--all over the world!
